Only two seats positions
March 21, 2022
Even though I was happy with the purchase when i change the cot to the seat I realized that it only has two positions. One is too flat ant the other is too straight for my little baby. In the Cybex webpage it says that the seat has 3 positions but it is a lie. I cannot change the product because I bought it few months ago.

Perfect Stroller in Almost Every Way
September 29, 2021
I received the CYBEX Stroller from Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest feedback, and I honestly don't even know where to start with the positivity of this review. I'm a seasoned mom and experienced stroller owner and the amount of things I would change about the CYBEX Melio Stroller are so minimal. The weightlessness of this stroller is unparalleled. I can carry, lift, and store this stroller in the trunk of the car with ease - WHILE holding my 1 year old. I can fold it with one hand. My son can recline effortlessly and have full coverage from the sun and the mesh backrest keeps it from becoming a sauna in there. The click straps are actually user friendly (my biggest complaint with other brands) and the shoulder straps are comfortable and stay in place (saving me the headache of always rearranging them). I can hold a leash for our pup with one hand and push the stroller straight with the other. Game changer! I'm usually going down the sidewalk like a pinball when I'm pushing other strollers while walking the dog. The reason this stroller is getting 4 stars instead of 5 is because of its tendency to tip. Surprise to me, the back wheels are closer together than the front wheels, so this stroller isn't as sturdy as some others. My 5 year old likes to push the baby in the stroller and this one makes me a bit more nervous knowing he needs to work harder to maintain control and keep a slow speed. Obviously if I'm the one pushing the stroller the tipsy nature isn't an issue, but if you have older kids wanting to be involved, its something to consider. All in all, I highly recommend!

Like Pushing Air
September 27, 2021
I am the mom of two girls - 3.5 years old and 22 months old. My husband and I knew that we wanted to have more than one kid, so when my oldest was born, we invested in a travel system that could expand to accommodate two. It was a great choice when my girls were small, but now that they are bigger, I can barley push it and it takes up the entire back of our van when we travel.

I've been in the market for a lightweight, single-seat stroller for the times when my youngest still needs a ride. We have an umbrella stroller, but it is so uncomfortable to push that I refuse to use it.

Enter the CYBEX Melio Carbon Stroller.

This stroller is like pushing nothing at all (in the best way). Even though it is like pushing air (under 13 lbs), it is still sturdy and has both a 5-point harness and a safety bar. It also has a basket underneath to carry essentials. The basket isn't huge, but it is big enough.

The black-on-black aesthetic is attractive and I love the mesh back option for hot days. I also love how easy it is to velcro on a solid back (no unfastening straps) when the weather gets cooler. You can also extend the sun canopy to almost completely cover the seat, making naps on the go easy - especially since the seat reclines almost flat! But, when your little isn't napping, the canopy also adjusts so you can vary the amount of shade. I appreciate that I can keep some of the sun off my kiddo, but she can also see everything that's going on.

One of the big selling points for the Melio Carbon is its compact fold design. This was one of the features I was most looking forward to. It came folded very tightly in the box. However, I don't feel like I can get it folded as compactly. This may just require a bit more practice on my part. The one-hand fold design is nice, I just wish I could feel confident I had it folded completely.

My youngest daughter loves riding in the new stroller. She seems comfortable and can easily see what's going on around her. I love pushing the new stroller because its lightweight, easy-to-stear design means I can maneuver it with one hand while keeping a hand free for my other kiddo. And that kiddo loves that she can put her water bottle in the grown-up cup holder (sometimes it's the little things).

All-in-all, this is a great stroller. Now I'm off to practice folding it into a tiny, lightweight bundle that I can carry in one hand.

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller.

Light and compact stroller
September 26, 2021
I received this stroller from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was blown away at how light and compact it is from the first time we used it. It folds up so easily and doesn't take up a ton of space in my trunk when we take it with us to parks or shopping, and stands upright in the garage when not in use. My daughter loves to go for walks, and this has been an easy stroller to use when walking with her and my dog. The basket underneath holds my diaper bag and any items we bring along. Although lightweight, the materials are sturdy and the ride is very smooth. The canopy gives great coverage and I don't have to worry about her getting too much sun, and the back of the stroller is breathable without the extra pad so it makes for a comfortable and cool ride. The reason I give it 4 stars is because there are only two possible seat recline options: lying down or sitting straight up. My one year old prefers to be upright, but I would like the option to have it recline just a little bit to relax without her having to lay all the way back. I also felt that the stroller felt a little unsteady if I made a sharp turn because it's so lightweight, but I never worried about it tipping over. Overall, this has become our go-to stroller for our on-the-go days and for walks in our neighborhood.

Lightweight Stroller
September 26, 2021
Thanks to the Stellar Testing Panel for the opportunity to review this stroller. The stroller was very lightweight, which made it easy to store and take for many adventures. I loved the comfort of the leather handle and the easy one handed compact fold. The stroller is beautiful and I like that the shade cover goes all the way down. I think for a younger child this is a great feature. My little one loved how high up she sits and is comfortable on long stroller walks. I would have loved a tray for her as she always loves having snacks and I would have found a cup hold more beneficial for her than me. The cup holder placement seemed to get more in the way and was not very big for a water bottle. The storage basket on the bottom is a little small if you are used to taking a lot of items with you. Overall the ride was smooth, the lightweight of the stroller made pushing easier, the packing up of the stroller is very convenient with the one hand fold.

Lightweight but not great
September 25, 2021
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller. At first glance it's a nice stroller, but I was very confused trying to set it up since the instructions have no words, only vague pictures. There are also no additional instructions for accessories like the cup holder so it's a guessing game. I like the different levels for sunshade (max to min coverage), accessories it can have attached, mesh back and it is very lightweight and easy to maneuver. However, it's difficult to adjust the straps and is hard to fold. It is definitely NOT a one handed fold like another stroller I have. I also wish it had a cup holder and snack tray for kids. Overall, a nice stroller but needs a lot of improvement. I'll be sticking to my other stroller.

Absolutely love it
September 25, 2021
The Cybex Melio Carbon rides and pushes very smoothly. Very easy to push and control while walking, good turning capability. I love the multi positional handlebar; I am less than average height so the lower handle position is perfect for me. I don't feel like I am scrunching my shoulders up to my ears to push the stroller. The higher handle position is perfect for my husband who is taller than the average height; He loves feeling like he doesn't have to bend to push the stroller. Really enjoying the patented handlebar it's a lot nicer on the hands than a slippery or cheap material. I do wish the cupholder was bigger, or adjustable to hold a larger water bottle. And it would be a bonus if the child's bar had a snack tray or a cupholder though because my kids- like most -are smackers and usually have a water cup at the very least. Keeping those in the seat itself has lost us a few items over the last few weeks. Oops!
At times the locking mechanism does get stuck so even when you release it, the brake doesn't always come off. You have to push it forward and then it clicks off... It's a little touchy but not a big deal and does not happen every time.
I like that I can easily maneuver this stroller with one hand when I need to!
It is so lightweight (as most umbrella strollers are advertised to be) so it's great to just fold up, grab and go. It folds up really small, which is great, and always a benefit. The ability to fold this stroller with one hand is awesome but I feel it needs a little practice to actually be able to accomplish that.

The mesh backrest is a great concept for the babes who run warm, or if you live in a warmer climate! Very nice that we could take advantage of that feature for a few weeks for our end of summer weather. I am probably most thrilled about the rain cover!!! Although, I do think a little troubleshooting is needed with the design because our basket ended up soaked from the rain runoff of the rain cover... Perhaps I'm not covering it correctly but that would be my main thing due to living in the PNW with lots of rain year-round!

Lightweight with great storage
September 25, 2021
I was thrilled to receive this stroller as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was looking for a new lightweight now that my oldest started school to explore the city with my littlest. This is easy to carry up and down subway steps when needed, but I use it anytime I don't need to haul family groceries. It pushes very smoothly and has all the features I need for every day outings. My daughter begs to ride in it!

The mesh has been nice for hot days and I found the warmer insert easy to install when needed. I love the handle adjustability. I prefer a foot brake, and this one is nicely placed. I haven't accidentally stepped on it yet!

I found the fold took a couple tries to get fast, but can be done one handed. I really like that the stroller stands when folded, but I don't find the fold super compact. It still fits in my closet, so that isn't a deal breaker for me.

My favorite feature if this stroller is the basket! It is so easy to access and can easily hold a purse and a separate diaper backpack with room to spare. I can always easily reach whatever I'm looking for. I've already gotten compliments and questions from other moms at the playground.

Light as a feather
September 25, 2021
Oh my, you will be amazed by how light this stroller is. I've had about 5 strollers the last 3 years and I can say that this is by far the lightest stroller I've used. And I don't mean the light cheap feeling, it is luxurious, solid and sturdy, which is usually impossible to come across. I Ioad and unload this into my trunk effortlessly. At first it took me a few times to get the one hand fold down, but once mastered the collapse is quick. It doesn't take much room up in my trunk which is fantastic. As for the carbon black color, it is sleek! It is very appealing and really makes a statement. You can tell is it a high end stroller. The design features of the stroller make it perfect for running errands with a large bucket basket at the bottom of the stroller, much bigger than you would imagine for a stroller this compact. It can easily fit the essentials. The best part is that the base is plenty wide to get things in and out with ease, no tugging or getting stuck. The mesh seat is genius for a hot summer day, and the fabric feels durable yet soft. My baby's favorite part is the handle bar that comes across, she seems comfortable and enjoys holding on as we we stroll around. Another notable design feature is the handle bar with an adjustable height- I am 5'8 and my husband is 6'5 so it can be difficult to find a stroller that allows us to push without bending over, I think the handlebar is at a great height when fully extended. The stroller is easy to push and the wheels felt sturdy and make for a smooth ride. Don't expect to be able to push this stroller through rough terrain, rocks, or thick grass. It is definitely meant for more general use- concrete, sidewalks, stores, etc. On one occasion I attempted to push it through a combination of hilly grass and a gravel area and it was a struggle. There is a foot brake at the bottom near the back wheel. I had a difficult time taking the brake off, but my husband did not. So sometimes when I use it it takes me a few attempts to unlock the brake. My favorite feature of the stroller is the UV protected canopy. The canopy goes all the way down when full extended and easily glides to a compact fold when not in use. You can adjust the canopy for the perfect individualized coverage. This is truly a stroller where your little one can get a uninterrupted nap in! The backrest can fully extend to a flat position and the canopy can come all the way down making it an ideal nap environment. This stroller is so light, yet luxe that you will love how it performs and looks! I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I love this stroller
September 24, 2021
I was given the Cybex Melio Carbon Stroller to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and from the moment I opened the box I was impressed. The first thing I noticed is how light this stroller is; you can lift this stroller easily into your car with one hand. The look is fantastic! It is very sleek and streamlined, but still has all the necessary items like a basket under for storage, and a cup holder for a baby bottle or your beverage of choice. I love the carbon fiber too! The backrest is mesh and provides great airflow. It also has a sun canopy that completely covers my little one and doesn't leave gaps for the sun to peek through. It is very maneuverable and has suspension integrated into the back wheels, so going for walks with this stroller is enjoyable for me and my little one. It is great how easily this stroller folds away and doesn't take up much room in the back of my car, which opens up plenty of room for groceries or other items without having to maneuver around the stroller or remove it completely. The best feature though is that the stroller seat is reversible. So if your little one likes to face you or face the direction you are walking, you don't have to settle in choosing just one direction. I highly recommend this stroller, and it is a no-brainer 5 stars for me. If you're in need of a new stroller or thinking about an upgrade, go ahead and get the Cybex Melio Carbon, you will not be disappointed!

Must Have Stroller for a Mom on the Go
September 24, 2021
The CYBEX Melio Carbon stroller is sleek, lightweight, sturdy, easy to maneuver, and folds compactly with a handle for easy transport and storage. Everything a busy mom on the go needs in a stroller.

The removable padded backrest, breathable mesh seat back, and XXL canopy all make for a happy comfy baby. I love the extra roomy storage bin - tons of space and easily accessible. Only thing missing are a snack tray for baby and a parent tray for mama. Tip for folding the stroller: it's not in the instructions but make sure the wheels are locked.

Assembly was a breeze. All you do is pop on the wheels and bumper bar and make some adjustment to the seat. This pregnant mom with the assistance of a very "helpful" 1 1/2 year old had the stroller out of the box, assembled, and ready to go in under 15 minutes.

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this amazing stroller.
