Great stroller BUT the Flex Models are my favorite.
April 12, 2023
Great stroller but I do find the older version has a better push. For some reason, this model seems to maneuver less easily. I have a 2.0 and wanted to upgrade for the better basket access and updated colors. However, the slightly bumpier ride has me kind of wanting to keep my old one. I find this one to be a little harder to turn than my 2.0 as well. But looks wise, it’s much cuter. If you have nothing to compare it to, you wouldn’t even notice. But I’m a bit of a stroller push snob & coming from my 2.0 I can feel the difference.

Pros
  • Great basket.
  • Easy harness,
  • Aesthetic!
Cons
  • Not as smooth as the older models.
  • Bigger and more awkward fold.

Crotch strap to short to strap in larger baby
January 20, 2023
Crotch strap too short
I have bought this stroller due to 75lbs weight limit only to find out thet I can barely strap my 8mo baby due to crotch strap being to short. If the baby is in winter clothes it's almost impossible to strap it into the stroller.
That's very disappointing and major fail. I was talking to other parents who are having same issue.
Customer Images
Pros
  • Quality build, fabrics, large sunshade, large seat, nice padding, good performance.
Best Uses
  • Running and walking
Cons
  • Crotch strap too short and unable to strap my 8mo baby despite 75lbs weight limit.

Excellent stroller
October 4, 2022
This jogger is fantastic. Love the color, it is very sturdy, feels very safe, pushes smooth, lays the babe back really far so she can nap, has great ventilation and the sun shade is above and beyond what I wanted! Only negative is it is still very bulky when folded, but it’s worth it! Love this stroller, will forever own a BOB!

Pros
  • Smooth ride , adjustable handle for any height makes a comfortable run
  • Canopy helps block wind and sun
Cons
  • Seat buckle is tight on little boy and could use a new design

Absolutely love except for the folding up
May 21, 2022
We absolutely love our new BOB Allterrain. The shocks take rocks and divots like a champ. The wheels stay pumped up for the most part. The HUGE canopy keeps our babe nearly entirely shaded.
The only flaw is the folding up and moving around of this stroller. We have a truck so when the stroller is folded up in the back, it rubs on the bottom of the truck, leaving us with a thrashed stroller :( we have adapted and wrap the stroller with a blanket when storing it in the back. Just beware of this if you are a putting this in your truck bed. Other than that this is the Mecca of all strollers 😊

Why must you "fix" what isn't broken?
October 15, 2021
My wife and I have owned three models of BOB strollers over the last ten years. Two have been single versions and one has been a duallie. We have always enjoyed our BOB strollers for their versatility, they have accompanied us on numerous adventures, and we have always highly recommend them to other parents.

However, the latest version we have owned (Alterrain Jogging Stroller) has been a disappointment in a major way. Changing the way the strollers are folded and stored was a big flaw. The strollers used to fold down way more compact than they do with the new system. I honestly believe my old duallie folded smaller than my current single. Furthermore, the way the stroller is held together with the rubber clip causes much frustration when unfolding. Often, the strap is stuck or the front wheel does not release causing the user to try and unfold the front wheel (because it is impossible to see from the other end whether the front end has released) only to realize it is stuck. This has resulted in numerous scratches to the front plastic piece of the stroller.

I have honestly been so happy with all of my BOB strollers until now. Once the new Alterrain is open and ready to use, it is the same performance I have come to expect from the BOB brand, but it is a dreaded chore to store the stroller.

Please fix this issue for future BOB stroller users!

Upgraded from the City Mini 2
September 23, 2020
Big upgrade! Love this stroller so much. Great for a walk but also great for gravel paths in our park system. The basket is big and much more practical than the City Mini-much easier access and sturdier too.
My sweet babe looks MUCH MORE comfortable in this set up. And the harness is SO MUCH EASIER.
Pros
  • Shocks, adjustable handlebars, basket, harness and straps.
Best Uses
  • We love this for regular walks and for gravel roads in our park system.
Cons
  • The break is good but harder than a hand break when wearing sandals.

Solid Performance; does the job well
September 1, 2020
Little perks that made my day include the small open pocket on the interior of the stroller, the extra-large canopy, the large storage underneath the stroller, and the small zippered pocket at the back of the stroller by the handlebar, perfect for my house keys. On our most recent adventure to the park, my son tucked his water bottle and snack cup into the pockets, I stashed my cell phone and keys into the zippered pocket, stashed our lunch in the cargo basket, and off we went!

The big seller for me with the BOB Gear Alterrain Jogging Stroller was the one-handed close to and the fact that when closed, it's self-standing. Many strollers I've tried swear that they are self-standing, but they aren't really. This one does! Also, though BOB doesn't say anything about it, the stroller is high enough off the ground that my older son can comfortably sit in the front when he's tired of walking / riding his bike with me.

Not so great the pressure in the tires was supposed to be ready to go, but it was not enough for us. I'm glad I checked the pressure before setting out on a long adventure. Also, the hand-brake was really uncomfortable to use - I can see getting blisters with prolonged use. The stroller itself is not light-weight and even fully collapsed it takes up a great deal of my trunk space. I'm not surprised - the stroller is quite roomy and designed to keep children comfortable while I exercise, but it's something to think about when planning trips. Lastly, I'm used to being able to jog one-handed, and this stroller is a little difficult for me to steer one-handed.

My Wishlist would include a little more mesh in the seating area. My boys run hot, and there's not a ton of airflow with the canopy covering them. I'll be clipping a fan to the stroller, but it would be great to have a little more mesh.

Overall I really like this stroller. I know that the not-so-greats seem longer, but it's because I'm nitpicking. If you're looking for a stroller that will keep your child comfortable while you get a walk / jog / run in, this is a great option.

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Bob stroller!
September 1, 2020
This is the second BOB Gear stroller I have owned, and it is even better than my first! I was lucky to be able to test this through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I'm 5'2" and my husband is 6'5" - the adjustable handlebar by far is my favorite feature on this stroller. It makes it easy for us to switch back and forth between users, and my husband might love this stroller more than me. Most strollers are way to low for him to push comfortably. Another bonus is the handlebar can be adjusted low enough my toddlers can push it. (Because they love to "help" mom.) I also really like the new brake design. While we do a lot of walks in the park, grass, snow, dirt, etc. I still wear flip flops a majority of the time, and this brake is easy to put on/off. I'm a huge fan of the BOB strollers and you don't realize how much the suspension system makes a difference, until you are pushing tired toddlers in the sand or up a grass hill. I swear the stroller just floats across whatever surface. The one thing that wasn't any bonus for me, is the one hand fold-up. I actually find it slightly difficult to fold/unfold the stroller, and being short this stroller is harder to lift in- and out- of my vehicle or over things when folded up. Overall, still extremely happy with this stroller and recommend it, especially if you regularly go out to parks, dirt roads, beaches, or other uneven surfaces. It makes a huge difference.

BIG Stroller Upgrade
August 31, 2020
I am in love with the new Bob All Terrain stroller! I've had a much older version of this stroller that I've used for the past three years with my daughter, and I honestly didn't know it could get any better until I got this new model in my hands. My favorite feature is the adjustable handle. I'm 5'11 and my husband is 6'3, and I can tell you there are not many stroller that are comfortable for us to push. This one takes the cake! I typically run or jog with the stroller, and this one is super easy to push and navigate with one hand. The suspension is fantastic and makes for a smooth ride over our bumpy sidewalk and jumping on and off curbs. I also love the large storage basket underneath that is still accessible while my daughter is sitting in the stroller (a big difference from my old model.) Another huge selling point for me is the near-flat recline and the extended coverage of the canopy- this will be super helpful with the baby that will be joining our family soon! I wish that there were built in cup holders for the adult, but it's easy enough to buy a parent console and attach. Overall, I am thrilled with this stroller, as is my husband, and my almost 3 year old daughter gives it two thumbs up for comfort! I know we will enjoy using this for years to come.

Another great stroller from BOB Gear
August 31, 2020
The BOB Gear Alterrain Jogging Stroller is everything you could want from, and have come to expect from, a BOB Stroller...plus so much more!

I have used several different styles of BOB Strollers in the past with both of my children and none of them have ever disappointed me. The Alterrain is no exception. This sleek new design and beautiful shade colors make this stroller next level. I love a good looking stroller and the Alterrain does not disappoint.

The handle bar adjustment makes it a breeze to go back and forth between myself and my husband when we are out and about, especially considering that we are not close in height. I often want my handlebars low and he prefers a higher setting. Having the adjustable handlebars is a great feature.

The basket on the Alterrain is very roomy and I like how open and easy it is to access. It can hold a ton of stuff. I even let my very small dog ride in the bottom and she loves it! The seating is spacious and accommodates both of my children very well. I have a two year old and six year old and they both loved how comfy the inside of this stroller was. It could easily go from one kid to the other while we were are on adventures.

The one hand close and stand alone are very cool new features for BOB that I am loving. It did however take me some extra time to familiarize myself with these new features and I had to actively remind myself that this was the way the Alterrain folds since it is a new feature. Once I finally got used to this new method it was easy and fairly foolproof. When folded down it is a bit large and does take up some room in the back of my SUV, but since I do a lot of off track running and walking I do think that having a reliable stroller, like the Alterrain, is worth loosing some space in the back of my car. The super sturdy wheels on the Alterrain make it easy to go over dirt, rocks, grass and all kinds of different quality roads.

The braking bar on the bottom of this stroller was probably my only complaint of the Alterrain. And not because it didn't work, quite the contrary, this brake means business!. But I did find it harder to engage with my foot than other BOB braking bar systems. It took some re-learning in order to engage it as quickly as I am used to, However, I think that if you had never used another BOB stroller than you probably would not have this same problem.

Overall this is another amazing stroller from BOB Gear and if you are looking for a reliable and awesome stroller than I would highly recommend the Alterrian for all your stroller needs.

Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller.

The Best Stroller
August 31, 2020
Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel I was able to try this stroller out and it goes above and beyond. It goes on grass, gravel, wood chips ext. with total ease. The design is sleek and neutral. It has a nice zipper pocket on the back by the handle bar to put your phone and wallet or something of that size. The handle bar is adjustable and the sun canopy is huge and features a great magnetic flap that allows you to see your child and also lets air in. The back of the seat also has a extra little mesh pocket to put things in. This was incredibly easy to set up (about 15 mins). Travel is also super easy with this stroller. Under the seat is a handle you twist and the whole thing collapses down for easy storage or to put in the back of your vehicle. It is also a nice fabric that allows you to wipe it down very easily. This company has great customer service and I recommend BOB to all my mommy friends. We can't wait to take it camping with us this weekend! Thank you again Stellar Panel!

Versatile, easy-to-use stroller with incredibly smooth ride
August 31, 2020
I'm grateful to have received this stroller to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.  This was my first time using a jogging stroller and it really has made me a fan. I've previously only used a light-weight umbrella stroller and far and away the biggest difference with the BOB Gear Alterrain Jogging Stroller was how easy it was to maneuver and how incredibly smooth the ride was.  I appreciate how user-friendly this stroller is and love its versatility.  It can be used by walkers, joggers, and runners for exercise as well as for around-the town errands and family outings.  Overall I highly recommend this stroller based on the following pros and cons:

Pros
-It was really easy to push, even on inclines with my 45 lb child on board
-It is lightweight, easy to collapse, and stands up conveniently for storage when folded
-The maneuverability was top-notch and it both handled well and provided a smooth ride on varied terrain (gravel, uneven ground, and grass)
-I really liked the storage options, especially the pockets in the seat area for the child to use
-The peekaboo flap is convenient with magnetic closure to easily open it and hold it in place when closed
-The handle is adjustable so that you can get it a comfortable height for easy pushing without arm strain
-The wrist strap is really useful to avoid a runaway stroller
-My 2-year old found it comfortable to ride in, though she didn't like the reclined seat position

Cons
-The straps were hard to adjust and the maximum extension of the belt around the waist seems too tight for larger kids
-It is bulky when collapsed and would take up a sizable amount of trunk space in the car
-The stroller can really easily roll away from you when stopped so it is essential to use the parking brake if you're taking your hands off the handle or out of the wrist strap
-When it is in jogging mode, you can only make gradual turns and have to lift the front wheel in order to make a sharp turn
-There isn't a cup holder, though it looks like you can purchase a compatible handlebar console with two cup holders as an accessory

If I could rate it higher I would - Awesome Jogger!
August 31, 2020
Hands down this is the BEST stroller jogging experience I have ever had.

As a runner having a jogging stroller that is easy to handle and that rolls well (true and easy) is super important as it really can make or break your jogging experience. My previous jogging stroller was an absolute bear compared to this stroller - so much so that I dreaded going out for a run with the little in the stroller. It is such a relief to have found a stroller that you do not need to fight while running. I am honestly in love.

So, here is my pro/con list:

Pro:
1. This stroller moves great! It rolls nicely and is easy to turn (you do need to push down a bit to turn as with any fixed front wheel jogger but that is easy to do). In fact, it rolls so nicely that I have not noticed my times significantly impacted - am I slower with the jogging stroller than without? Yes, but it is not nearly as much of an impact on my times as I have seen with other strollers. I attribute it to the better-quality bearings and suspension that this stroller has.
2. The rider LOVES the ride! Seriously, they love it; after our first run the only thing the little said for quite a bit was "more?" and weeks later they still come running when I ask if they want to come for a run. This is fantastic because you never want to have to fight your little into the jogging stroller - puts a real damper on your run to start off that way! The seat is padded in all the right ways, the harness system is super easy to adjust, and the sunshade has awesome coverage.
3. Easy to set up and folds down nicely. Though I tend to just park my jogging stroller at the end of a run, this one folds down easily and is relatively compact.
4. The back wheels are closer together than on other jogging strollers. So, hear me out, you might think this is not ideal for jogging, but it really seems to be! The narrower profile makes the stroller easier to maneuver, you fit in tighter spaces, and, if you jog with a k9 companion, it allows for your dog to be closer in with you while not getting hung up. Side note - dog is way less terrified of this stroller than our previous jogger and I think that this might be a good part of the reason.

Cons:
1. Your child will want to go out running more...

OK, maybe that is not really a con! I really had to think about this one and I am not coming up with any true cons so instead here are my two additional thoughts...
1. My little is quite petite so the harness could use to go down just a little further to be a "snug" fit but it works as is - they are safely contained and as I said very happy with the comfort level.
2. I wish I had the Pro version for the hand brake and the covered cargo basket. The covered cargo basket is just so things can be stowed a bit more securely (though this stroller does have great pockets) and the brake is because we live in a hilly area and it would be nice to be able to slightly brake by hand on the downhills. So, if you are on the fence this may make a difference for you.

Overall this stroller has really improved my jogging experience with the little and we both have to say Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing us with this stroller!

This things is the BOmB diggity of strollers!
August 31, 2020
If you are looking for a weak stroller then stop looking at this one! It is one of the best built, and durable strollers you can get. I got a chance to give my kids the ultimate ride thats to the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The ride on this was so smooth the kids slept as we jogged over cobblestone roads, pavement, grass and more....the suspension rivals that of a small luxury car. Seriously this thing should have a video of it like they do with beds and the glasses of wine.....i mean what parent cant use a glass? Anyway this thing rides so smooth you would still have to swirl your glass to release the tannins.
Oh and when you are tired from your jog with your little angel, dont worry, no need to be the Hulk to pick this stroller up. Simple 1 handed fold makes this thing so easy the that the Hulk would be able to fold this with his Infinity Gauntlet hand.....yeah its that easy.

Overall this thing is the bomb!

Comfortable, large, strong.... too large?
August 31, 2020
I am excited to write this review as I really am loving this stroller that I received from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I am blessed to have 2 other strollers in addition to this Allterrain Jogging Stroller, and I can tell you, that this has become my favorite. Of course, there are things that could be better but let me explain!
I live on a farm with my 3 and 1.5 year olds. We are outside ALL the time and often have to carry many things. I have a 2 kid stroller which is nice and have had for 4 years now. We also have the BOB Rambler travel system. For this review, I thought it would be best to compare the 2! Bottom line- I would without a doubt go with this Allterrain jogger. 100%.

Pros-
-Its big! My 3 year old sat in the seat and my 1.5 year old tagged along on the front (I know, not the safest seat but man does it work!). I also put a full basket of produce in the storage compartment below and had my phone in the handy holder at hand level.
-It seems to be almost self propelled. It is not, but when I began running with my 3 year old strapped in, I gave it a push and it seemed to just go along where as the rambler requires active pushing. You know you are jogging with it.

Things I love: handle adjusts to fit you, HUGE sun shade with a sweet magnetic closure, "mom" pocket for your things (an add on for our other strollers), an actual easy fold up. Really is 1 handed.

Things to think about:
-Its big! It will take up a lot of room in your SUV if you plan to bring it somewhere. It was light enough for me to carry with 1 hand but was also bulky which made it difficult to get through the door when folded. It is much bigger than the rambler even when folded.

With its size in mind, it is also a major positive. I am exceptionally pleased with its ease of movement, ability to take on paved and gravel roads as well as bumpy dirt/grass of my farm. It is big but easy to push when jogging. Very happy and I recommend.

Amazing Jogger
August 31, 2020
Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me this amazing stroller. It was very easy to assemble. I had to clip in the wheels and the canopy and that's it!! The material that the seat and canopy are made out of is very sturdy and water resistant. I like how the 5 point harness cradles my daughter. It prevents her from shifting side to side while jogging. It even has 2 pockets for her sippy cup. No need for me to constantly hand it to her. She could grab It herself. The pocket for my phone was a game changer too!!!! I have the Pixel 3xl and my phone NEVER fits in standard phone pockets on strollers. My phone, the phone case, and my key could fit in the pocket. I highly recommend this stroller to all parents.

So easy to use it's silly
August 31, 2020
This is my honest review of this stroller that I did receive from Stellar Product Testing Panel. I am currently using it for my 5 and 3 year olds to take turns in while the other rides their bike. I have owned and tried other brands but this one is better than the rest I have used.

Pros:
It is lighter, smoother, and easier to maneuver than most. I have used this mostly for walking and some runs when my kids let me. I live being able to let it coast with less effort than I'm used to. The air filled tires glide better than most solid rubber tire systems. The brake system is way better than a hand brake cable system. The storage basket is ample in size. The buckle system is way easier and sturdier than anything I've tried.

Cons:
There is no handbrake. It is nice especially when going down hills to have a break, especially for emergencies which is harder to reach out with your foot for the foot brake. It does have a tethered strap to place your wrist in though. The cover/hood is not fully integrated so there are gaps on the sides. It is still quite large when folded up, but emery's to fold and sturdy.

Again, truly my honest opinion. I would buy this if it were on sale. It will definitely replace what I have been using. And will save me energy both in set up and on my walks and runs!

A True Runners' Stroller!
August 30, 2020
The BOB Allterrain stroller is the a stroller that is easy and comfortable enough for every day use but holds up to hard workouts for true runners. The maneuverability is fantastic; you can easily pivot on a dime with one hand. The adjustable handle makes it easy for both my husband and myself to use the stroller comfortably with just a simple, quick adjustment to handlebar height. The front wheel makes turning smooth on any surface from sidewalks to grass to mulch trails. When running, the stroller feels like a self-propelled lawn mower- it moves forward with very little resistance making your run far less tiring so you can focus your energy on your pace and speed.

The fold is unique and very easy to use. The button release is conveniently located where you grip so you can easily release the button with your palm and turn the release at the same time. Once it releases, you are holding the main weight in your hand and can easily place it in the car or for storage. It is still quite large when folded with the big wheels and the front wheel doesn't easily come off and back on. The pin is separate and I worry about losing it in transit when I take the stroller in the car to get to trail runs. It would be better if it could attach when not engaged. It's a large stroller which doesn't make storage convenient. It might be nice to have a storage bag for the wheels and wheel pin when it's taken part for transit. For a stroller at this price point, I'd expect features like that.

The suspension system is the best I've ever used. I used it with my 6 month old, 2 year old, and 3 year old and they all barely moved when we went over bumps in the trail or sidewalk cracks. The younger two even fell asleep during our runs multiple times.

The stroller is very well designed! From everything from the smooth ride to the the child seat buckle which easily adjusts from infant to large toddler with an easy slide with one hand. The buckle also is designed so the shoulder straps can come apart when you want them to, but they doesn't come apart on their own. The storage basket is also very large and keeps items secure while being easy to access. It's convertible for tall or medium people, but I'd say it's probably too large for a short runner. Great for those who have both parents wanting to use the stroller comfortably. The recline is awesome for kids of all ages and goes nearly all the way back and the seat is dark and quiet for easy sleeping or naps.

Features I'd like or expect that are currently missing: 1) a way to contain and protect the parts when it's dissembled 2) there is also nowhere to put your water bottle when actively on a long run. It was very annoying to have to stop and reach down to get my water every time I was thirsty on a hot run. 3) Another feature I'd alter is that there is a zipper pocket conveniently located for your phone, but It is opaque and it would be nice to have a transparent pocket to put a phone in during a run so you could see if it was ringing or read the weather or time.

Overall, this stroller is rugged and worth the money for those who want a stroller for any terrain that seems like it will last forever and those who are serious about running. Thanks for the opportunity to try this great stroller, Stellar Product Testing Panel!

The best jogging stroller
August 30, 2020
Thanks to Stellar Product Reviews, I was able to test out the BOB Gear Alterrain Jogging Stroller. My daughter just turned 4, and she fit perfectly (with room to grow). Assembling it was super easy and took me about 15 minutes. I love how easy it is to fold it and unfold it; so much simpler than strollers that I have used in the past. The ride is so smooth and it's easy to push. You can tell that mountain bike technology is used in the production of this stroller-it feels more like a piece of outdoor gear than it does a stroller.
I used it on some hot, sunny August days and I so appreciated the huge sunshade to keep my daughter cool. She loved the mesh snack pockets on the inside of the stroller-she put a water bottle in one and a packet of Goldfish in the other and felt very independent!
Can't think of any downsides to this awesome stroller. It's a game changer.

Smooth ride, premium fabrics, support, shade & storage = WIN
August 30, 2020
The BOB Gear Alterrain Jogging Stroller makes me WANT to run, which is small miracle considering it arrived exactly 6 weeks into my third pregnancy. When those first trimester symptoms hit in full force, I need products that are straightforward (i.e. require minimal energy/effort to use), prioritize convenience & keep my kids safe and happy. The Alterrain ticks all those boxes and more, which made all the difference in those early weeks. Assembly took less than 15 minutes out of the box. The lightweight frame, suspension system & air-filled tires made for the smoothest rides my 24 lb., 29 in., 2-year-old and 36 lb., 39 in., 4-year-old have ever had in a jogging stroller. And because it rides so well (even through rocky trails, grass & mud) it made for far more efficient runs for me.

It has an ultra-comfy and supportive seat with additional padding to keep your child's hips secure (which I love). The 5-point, no-rethread harness makes for quick ins-and-outs and adjustments. The 2-panel canopy keeps the sun out of little ones' eyes even when fully reclined (which is everything when you're out during nap time). I love that both peek-a-boo windows are secured by magnets too (vs. noisy velcro) and are easy to access & manage, even mid-stride. I've definitely taken advantage of the big, zippered pocket for my smartphone and love to see my girls making the most of their storage too (the drink & toys are apparently my 2-year-old's "essentials"). The storage basket is impressive in terms of size, but isn't as easy to access once a little one is in the seat. The fabric is definitely water-resistant (performed great on a rainier run) and easy to clean after spills. And the one-hand, one-step fold is the real deal. It's so straightforward and I love that it stands on its own once folded. However, keep in mind this is a heavy-duty, all terrain stroller, which means it is heavy and takes up a good amount of cargo space even when folded.

All in all, the BOB Gear Alterrain is a premium jogging stroller packed with convenience & comfort features. Once I buy a handlebar accessory with a cupholder I think I'll have everything I need. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for introducing us to the Alterrain at a time I needed running with little ones to be easy. It's a winner!

Easy to Maneuver and Smooth Ride in All Terrains!
August 30, 2020
I have used a few different strollers and this is by far my favorite for our family's active lifestyle! When the stroller arrived, you can tell it was packaged with care. It did take me a little to initially figure out how to open it (the instructions were packaged in the middle where I couldn't access them initially) so I'd recommend quickly doing an Internet search for the instructions if you run into this issue too. Once I got the stroller itself open, the installation of the wheels and canopy was a breeze.

As for performance, this stroller outperforms all the others I have used. My husband also agrees. The large and durable tires makes it easy to maneuver in a wide variety of terrain which makes it perfect for walks and jogs around the block and on the golf course! It is so easy to move that you can actually do it easily one handed. I also love how the front wheel can either swivel (for walks) or be locked to stay straight (for jogs). The ride seems to be very smooth and quiet, and I like how the tires have treads and are air filled so are able to be refilled if needed.

The folding mechanism is easy to manage but I would say you really need two hands to fold it well (one hand to manage the lever to collapse it but the second hand to really push it together tight for storage). It is still easy to do but just something to be aware of when purchasing. Opening it is a bit difficult since it is heavy and bulky and there's no easy lever to make it open (like there is for folding). This is one thing I would change about this stroller if I could. Storage-wise it does require a bit of space due to the large size of the tires and I'd imagine this can cause some difficulty when transporting in a smaller vehicle. We have only used it near home so have not run into this issue but to us this stroller meets our needs well so it is worth the trade-off regardless.

It is hard to choose a favorite feature of this stroller but I would say the top things my family and I love are the high size limit (you can use it up to 75 lbs. which makes it an awesome choice to grow with kids!), the extra large canopy with UPF protection (a must in Arizona!), and the height adjustable handlebar (it is the perfect size for even my 6'2" husband and is much appreciated as we have never had a stroller handle go tall enough for him to use comfortably; he says he'll never use another stroller!). I also love that the canopy has a window with a magnetic closure so it'll stay open for viewing of your little one even if it's windy or during a jog. I also love the cupholders in the seat for easy access for my son (which also makes getting in/out easier so you don't have to lift a child over anything in the front). Thank you to the Stellar Product testing panel for providing us with this awesome jogging stroller to try and review! We will continue to use this for many years to come!

Wonderfully Smooth Ride
August 29, 2020
I want to start off by saying this stroller rides like a dream! The wheels are massive compared to my other strollers and it maneuvers beautifully across any terrain. We live in Northeast PA. We took this stroller on a walk around the block and for a hike through local nature trails. No problem on either terrain. Baby did not seem bothered and even though the nature trail terrain was rocky and filled with tree roots he was hardly jolted at all. The colors are a perfect neutral so no worries about gender clashes. I used this stroller with my baby and my 2.5 year old. The one handed fold is fantastic when trying to get the stroller together and wrangle two small children. It folds up reasonably small for how big and sturdy the stroller is. Since it's a large and sturdy stroller it is definitely more heavy. I would construe that as a positive because it does feel very safe. The only real con with this stroller is my toddler is BIG. He wears size 4 and while the stroller says it holds kids from newborn to 5 years old he barely fit inside this stroller. In comparison, my seven year old still fits in my other strollers so this one certainly has a smaller seat. That is the only reason I knocked off one star. If you purchase this stroller during pregnancy or shortly after baby is born you'll get a ton of use out of this. I don't think any new parent would be disappointed with how beautifully it handles and how classy it looks. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for this free stroller to review.

Quality in every aspect
August 29, 2020
Thanks so much to the Stellar ProductTesting Panel for sending me this stroller! I was pumped to measure this top-notch brand against other strollers I have had in the past. Let me just say, it did not disappoint. The ride on this stroller is so smooth even on uneven pavement it was unwavering. Compared to my previous jogger that I would have to slow/stop on rough patches of pavement this I could fly through and my son didn't even notice. There was no bounce at all. You can tell that a lot of effort went into designing the suspension on this as well as the fold and storage. I love that it truly can be stored on its handlebar and won't roll or fall. This is a great feature and I won't have to figure out a way to keep it from rolling onto other miscellaneous garage items. The only thing that keeps this stroller from a 5 star is the fact that it's pretty tall when folded and didn't fit as well in my car (smaller SUV). The smooth ride more than makes up for the size. This is a great stroller for someone who wants their run to be consistent (it was very easy to maneuver) and comfortable for their little one!

Lamborghini of Strollers
August 29, 2020
If you want the best all-use stroller money can buy, this is the stroller for you! The Stellar Product Testing Panel delivered the most amazing jogging/ all terrain stroller right to our doorstep, and we couldn't be more grateful! Not only is the Bob All Terrain Stroller beautiful to look at , it's highly functional as well. For starters, the beautiful fabric and neutral colors make it perfect for any household. The canopy cover of the stroller is perfect for completely covering your kiddo or adjusting for the perfect amount of shade. The reclining seat is easy to use and functional for all ages. Let's talk about ease of folding the stroller up next. We've had our fill of strollers and this stroller is the easiest fold stroller we've had. All it takes is one hand and a tug and the stroller compacts into a small, easy to maneuver family friendly product making this the best feature of this stroller! This stroller is amazing for novice and expert use. It can be used on intense all-terrain, moving nicely across different trails. It also adapts perfectly to an average cement walkway. The front wheel can be fixed or put on a swivel making it perfect for any style of jogging, walking or hiking. A great suspension system is important for adapting to different terrains. This stroller has exactly what you need for a smooth ride for your kiddo. The amount of bouncing or moving is largely decreased due to the expert suspension. I would suggest each parent run, not walk, to test this stroller out! I can't emphasize enough that this strollers ability to adapt to different terrains sets it apart from any other stroller on the market. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending us the Lamborghini of Strollers!

Smooth ride + love the added details!
August 29, 2020
I was very excited to try out this Bob jogging stroller as I haven't been able to find one that was a smooth ride and easy to maneuver with my two year old inside.

This stroller feels very luxurious and they really thought of everything when designing this. It feels solid and strong but also very easy to close and store.

I loved the suspension and so did my child. She normally says she gets sick on bumpy stroller rides but with the suspension built in, it felt much smoother.

I also really liked and appreciated the large basket underneath and the little mesh pockets on the inside so my daughter can store her snacks and water bottle. We run with this jogger to the beach and it fits everything that we need to have some beach fun once we get there.

I would definitely recommend this stroller for any active family... beach runs, hikes, long walks, it's perfect!

Thank you Stellar Reviews for giving me the opportunity to test this stroller in exchange for my honest review and feedback.

Does everything stroller - this is the one!
August 29, 2020
This stroller does everything and looks great while doing it and feels like it will last through multiple kids. My 6'2" husband and myself (5'7") mostly used it with my 14 month old but my tall 2.5 year old snuck a couple of rides and fit comfortably, we love the adjustable handlebar. I've taken it out for daily walks and runs around our neighborhood on rough gravel, to sandy beaches, through grassy fields as well as hikes through the woods, stream crossings included, and have only had a few minor issues maneuvering through some very rocky trail patches (not the stroller's fault, no stroller could have gotten through so we had to carry the stroller). It's very easy to push and the suspension is awesome, especially on gravel and on the trails - smooth sailing and happy babies. This stroller feels well built and sturdy, like it will last a really long time despite being put through the ringer by my kiddos and myself.

I was so excited when Stellar Reviews sent me this stroller to review as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I've used (and absolutely loved) older BOB models before and this one is a HUGE upgrade in ease of use and style. On older models I felt like I HAD To buy the accessories to put my phone/water in but this one has a nice zip pocket near the canopy so I didn't feel like I HAD to get any add ons to be happy. The fabrics on this stroller feel fancy, and look beautiful, as in, I don't feel like I'm taking my rugged mud monster of a stroller to the grocery store. I enjoyed that the confusing plastic window/velcro situation canopy situation from older models has been traded out for mesh and quiet magnets. The recline and harness straps are way easier to change position (one handed, no-rethread!), the harness clip is easier to use and the FOLD OMG THE FOLD! This beauty folds so easily (just open the little trap door by your kiddo's feet) and stands ON ITS OWN which is an absolute game changer for storing this in the garage/closet! I also liked that the wheels popped off easily so I could put them in a bag and wash them when I got home from my muddy hike.

The only downside about this stroller is it is on the heavier side, but I feel like BOB has done a great job making it much easier to maneuver with the one handed close so this did not detract at all from me using it.

My favorite part about this stroller is that I don't have to think about whether or not what I'm doing is stroller friendly, with this stroller it literally doesn't matter, it will prevail, it will fit, you'll look stylish and your kiddos will be comfy!

Worth the investment
August 29, 2020
I own a 6 year old bob duelie that I love with over a thousand miles on it so I was pretty excited to get to try this stroller for my 18 month old thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It does not disappoint. I've had this stroller for 3 weeks and we've used it for walks around town, running, shopping and some gentle wooded trails. It does not disappoint.
I love the size of the canopy. It covers everything but her feet and provides plenty of shade for walking naps. The magnetic cover is super convenient for being able to check and see if she's still asleep without having to stop running.
This stroller is great for maneuvering on our towns uneven sidewalks. I often walk in the street because of them but the shocks and maneuverability of the b.o.b mean that I don't have to. It also did great on the local nature trail. I don't know that I'd ever try to run on the trail with it but it did great going over roots and rocks and around tight corners while walking.
This storage basket is huge. We fit lunch, towels and the diaper bag with room to spare on a walk to the beach.
Most importantly to me, the handling of the stroller is amazing for running. I was a little concerned about the weight but it is fine both uphill and down. I can easily turn the stroller with one hand. There was no skidding or bouncing on our potholed local streets.
The only downside for me is the one-handed folding feature. It's not instinctive so I have to think about it and I've gotten frustrated trying to unfold it a couple of times.
The cost of strollers always seems so high to me but in this case, it's well worth it. B.O.Bs hold their value incredibly well and are built to last. I'd definitely recommend those stroller to friends whether they're looking for a true running stroller or a rugged stroller for everyday use.

Quality Stroller with Thoughtful Extra Features
August 29, 2020
I think this stroller is a really nice quality piece of gear! As a mom of 3 babies 3 years old and younger, I've been making plenty of excuses to avoid working out. But our youngest is 5 months now and I'm ready to shed this baby weight! I received this stroller from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review, and the timing couldn't be more perfect.
The stroller is designed to COMPLETELY be out of your way with your stride, even a longer stride - my husband is about 6' and I made him jog for pictures to illustrate that. The fabric is really nice and the extension of the canopy is FANTASTIC - which is especially useful if you typically jog sunrise or sunset - but the view window at the top is plenty big.
The couple extra nice features are little side pockets where the baby sits, and a pocket by the handle for the parent. Nothing too fancy there, but still nice to see compared to my regular stroller where every tiny little thing is an extra cost.
The only thing I noticed that I wanted to point out was that the brake bar by the feet would be really hard to work in flip flops. The front tire flips around from "jog mode" to "walk mode" (which makes it easier to turn, but hard to control while jogging), so you can use this easily as an everyday stroller. The brake bar is wide so you can use the top of your foot, so it's not a deal breaker just something to point out.
Overall I loved this stroller and would definitely recommend it! I'm so thankful to Stellar for getting the opportunity.

The BOB gear alterrain jogging stroller is like pushing a cloud it's so light and effortless. I was amazed at how easy it was to push through the grass and even up hills at the park. My child loves the smooth ride and is willing to go on more adventures now. The one hand handed fold makes packing this stroller up a breeze. It's so easy! I am also a big fan of the canopy on this stroller it shades my little one perfectly! I received this product free from The Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review.

Nearly perfect jogging stroller!
August 29, 2020
There is so much to love about this stroller. First off, the suspension system and air filled tires are AMAZING!! It offered my kiddo such a smooth and quiet ride, not just on pavement but on dirt roads as well. It certainly lives up to its name, as the maneuverability made it relatively easy to push on all types of terrain: grass, up dirt hills, pavement, and up and down curbs. Sounds odd, but it was actually pleasurable to use. Very responsive, even with the wheel locked in jogging motion. My true test is whether I can easily maneuver one-handed and it met the challenge with ease. Another big plus is the extended UPF 50+ canopy. I can run knowing that kiddo is protected and without the sun in his eyes. The large basket holds plenty including a diaper bag, workout towel, and change of clothes. The mesh pockets both inside the seat and on the outside behind the child's seat allowed easy access for snacks, drinks, and other necessities. They really outdid themselves with the solid, sturdy frame and small details like magnetic window. I also love how the padded handlebar is adjustable so that both myself and my husband who is 9" taller can comfortably use. The finishes are very sleek and made of high quality. Assembly took less than 10 min. It is a large stroller, so it will take up a good chunk of your trunk space. I also wish they had made the zippered pocket bigger. But otherwise, this may be the perfect stroller. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller; I can't wait to go out for another run with it!

Prefect stroller for everyday use or just as a jogger
August 29, 2020
This BOB Gear Alterrain Jogging Stroller is great! Smooth and sturdy ride for my child, easy to push, handles all terrains very well and with little effort, seat material is waterproof, extra padded and soft, it can recline low so your child can nap comfortably, side pockets for water bottle or snacks, a big canopy to keep the sun out of the kids eyes, the bottom basket is deep and they have a perfect little pouch for cellphone, ID and money. This stroller can be used as an everyday stroller or just a jogging/walking stroller. I am a huge BOB Stroller fan. I've had the Revolution Pro Jogger and the Revolution Pro Duallie Jogger that I've been using for the past 5 years and are still in great condition. This Alterrian stroller collapses a lot easier than their older jogger models but opening it takes me a little longer but I'm sure with time, I will get familiar with the new locking clasp feature to keep the stroller closed. I wish they would include some added features like a drink holder for the person pushing the stroller, snack tray, etc but just have to buy that separate. Getting the stroller to collapse is easier but doesn't fold down as tightly as their older joggers and it folds with the seat out vs in. I do prefer the way my other BOB joggers fold inward so when you're storing it, your seat won't be damaged. Overall, I am very happy with this BOB stroller. I am so thankful that I was selected to test this stroller as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I love that I will be able to use this stroller with both of my toddlers and will be able to use it with my baby due in February.

Versatile Jogging Stroller
August 28, 2020
I was given the BOB Gear Alterrain Jogging Stroller to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I have a three month old son and a two year old son that both love to go on daily walks/runs with my husband and I. Before receiving this jogging stroller, we only had a regular stroller which wasn't ideal for running. In order to get to the area we like to run in, we have to cross through some pretty uneven, rough terrain. We have owned several strollers, and none of them have performed as well as the BOB Gear Alterrain Jogging Stroller!

This heavy duty, well-built stroller provides a smooth ride for my boys regardless of the terrain we are on with it's excellent suspension system. My three month old finds it comfortable enough to nap during all of our adventures! It is also extremely easy to maneuver when walking, jogging, or running. It turns easily, but I never feel like I'm losing control when running at a faster pace.

I absolutely love the extra large canopy! We live in Texas where it is hot and sunny more days than not, and the huge canopy provides excellent protection for my boys! The stroller has an adjustable 9-position handlebar, making it comfortable to push for people of all different heights. I also love that the seat provides great versatility - it can sit completely upright which is great for my two year old and lays almost completely flat which is perfect for my three month old.

The one-handed fold feature is extremely easy to use and very convenient when you are trying to wrangle a toddler and have a baby in your arms.

The only con that I have found with this stroller is that because it is heavy duty, it is fairly heavy. When the stroller is folded up, the folding handle comes up above my waist, so carrying the heavy stroller to a different location to store is very awkward and difficult. This issue can easily be solved by wheeling the stroller to wherever you are wanting to store it, but I imagine it would be quite difficult to maneuver and put into the trunk of a car.

Overall, this is an incredible stroller to use for walking, jogging, or running on a smooth surface or rough terrain and versatile enough to use for any aged small child. I would definitely recommend this stroller!

Thanks again to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with the BOB Gear Alterrain Jogging Stroller to try!

Wonderful Stroller with Smooth Ride
August 27, 2020
I was so excited to try this new jogging stroller, and compare the new model with my other jogging strollers. There was a quick installation process that took less than 10 minutes. Once installed, I was pleasantly surprised by the sleek design. I love the large cabana that covers the child when needed. The ease of use when jogging was phenomenal...So far I've only used it on the sidewalk/road, but it glides along very smoothly with minimal effort. The turns were effortless and smooth as well. In terms of suspension and ease of use when jogging, it definitely out-performs both of the other jogging strollers I own. I could tell my child also enjoys the ultra-padded, reclinable seat, which made it very comfortable. I'm still practicing the "one-handed quick fold", but I think that will become easier the more I use it. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller! Great product that I'll be using regularly.

Street jogging, off-road trailing, and more!
August 27, 2020
I've used 3 different strollers since the birth of my first child 4 years ago. The BOB Gear Alterrain Jogging Stroller is hands-down the best stroller for our active lifestyle, especially during this pandemic time. The Alterrain is very lightweight but doesn't compromise on quality. I can easily guide this stroller with one hand on any terrain (no weight bearing down on the front wheel making it hard to steer) whether my 40 lb. 4-year-old is in the child seat, or the my 20 lb. 1-year-old is enjoying a ride. The handle bar is much taller than any other stroller I've seen - this allows me more space to even push the stroller while wearing my one year-old strapped to the front me. Handle bar adjusts low enough for my daughter to push the stroller when she turns restless on our adventures. Very impressed with the amount of space available in the bottom cargo basket. I can fit a large tote/diaper backpack, 2 lunch boxes or small cooler, and a picnic blanket/quilt. The new one-handed twist feature is the cherry-on-top. This is a large stroller but somehow it folds to fit in the smaller trunk space of our hatchback. Assembly is a breeze, just snap on the wheels. Our favorite features include: the large interior cup holder slings - even fits a large size thermos, zip pouch for phone and keys on the back are the perfect size, mesh pockets on the back of the child seat are perfect for quick access to wipes (I'm always losing packages of wipes in the abyss of the diaper bag), and the child harness has a satisfying sound of safety when you clip it together (no light plastic clicks) the harness clasp is quick and extremely secure. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending us this stroller to try. I use it everyday and it has become my most used piece of baby/child gear. This stroller is really a great value for the quality. I would even be willing to pay more for this stroller now that I've used it - its made such an impact on my own lifestyle - now enjoying 3-4 mile runs every day. I always look forward to mornings with the BOB Alterrain and my child.
